Car rental at Toronto Pearson Airport
Pearson has two passenger terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 3, and most travellers rent from a counter after a long walk and a line. How an airport handover works
Tell us your airline, flight and terminal in the request. Before pickup we confirm the meeting point and a phone number to call when you land. Flights change, so message us if yours is early or late. When you meet us, we check your licence and the card you paid with, walk around the car with you and note its condition. Ending a rental at Pearson works the same way in reverse: we agree the time and place, and collect the car from you.
Leaving the airport
The 427 runs south from the airport toward Etobicoke and downtown by the Gardiner Expressway, the 401 runs east and west just to the south, and the 409 links the terminals with both. The 407 ETR is close to the north and is a toll road without booths: the toll is billed to the car's plate and passed on to you at cost with $15 for each notice.
Travelling without a car first
If you would rather collect the car in the city, the UP Express train runs between Pearson and Union Station, and the Terminal Link train connects Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. We can deliver the car to your hotel or home instead, and you skip the airport handover entirely.
