Arranging the work in Bath County
CarmaCars arranges battery service with trusted shops in the Toronto area, and does not do the work itself. Plainly: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.
What to send us
If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. A person replies within one business day. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop.
A car while yours is in the shop
If the shop finishes early, return the rental early. A rental from us means you are not stuck while the shop works. Self pickup at our Toronto location has no fee.
Good habits for your car
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Questions first?
One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
