Arranging the work in DeWitt County
CarmaCars arranges battery service with trusted shops in the Toronto area, and does not do the work itself. The job: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Lights left on overnight are the classic reason for a flat battery.
How the arrangement works
Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. A person replies within one business day. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.
A rental while you wait
Choose a car that suits your week; delivery is priced in the offer. Keep moving with a rental while your car is at the shop, by the day at our usual rates. If you come to us, the pickup is free.
Good habits for your car
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Questions to ask the shop
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
Make a request
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
