Battery Boost in Hampton, SC

Arranging the work in Hampton

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Hampton is about 1,220 km away. What it involves: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.

Who does what

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Good habits for your car

Look at the tire tread before long trips. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

Getting a clear quote

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
