Battery Boost in Jay, VT

Battery Boost in Jay

We arrange battery service through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Jay. What it involves: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.

Our part and the shop's part

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price.

Small things that help

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.

Questions to ask the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Where we deliver

We are a Toronto company with no office or lot in Jay. Jay lies about 559 km from our location in Toronto, well outside our delivery area of about 250 km.

If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. If we do not know a shop in Jay, we say so rather than guess. For anything about Jay, a request reaches a person who answers honestly. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, before tax.
