Battery Boost in Markham, VA

Battery Boost for Markham

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 765 km from Markham, and does not do this work itself. In short: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.

Our part and the shop's part

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Good habits for your car

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.

Renting from Toronto

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Markham. About 765 km separate our location in Toronto and Markham, far past our 250 km delivery area.

If we do not know a shop in Markham, we say so rather than guess. If the car can come to the Toronto area, we can arrange a trusted shop there. Questions about Markham? Send a request and a person answers honestly. Note that our prices are shown in Canadian dollars.
