Battery Boost in Millstone, CT

Battery Boost in Millstone

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 642 km from Millstone, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.

From request to repair

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.

Car care, briefly

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
