Battery Boost in Poolesville, VA

Getting it done

If you need battery service in Poolesville: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. Plainly: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.

Who does what

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

A short checklist

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.

Between shop visits

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
