Battery Boost in Ruby, WA

Arranging the work in Ruby

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,123 km from Ruby, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A battery that struggles in the cold is often near the end of its life.

Who does what

We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. A person replies within one business day.

Small things that help

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
