Battery Boost in Tranquility, OH

Battery Boost for Tranquility

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 641 km from Tranquility, and does not do this work itself. The job: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.

How the request works

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

What to ask

If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.

Good habits for your car

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
