Battery Boost in Volcano, CA

Battery Boost in Volcano

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Volcano is about 3,479 km away. The job: A boost for a dead battery, by a roadside service we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A slow crank on a cold morning is often the first sign of a tired battery.

What we arrange

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Good habits for your car

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
