Car Diagnostics in Albas, BC

Getting it done

If you need a diagnostic check in Albas: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What it involves: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

How we help

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. A person replies within one business day.

Car care, briefly

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.

Before the shop starts

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
