Car Diagnostics in Appleton, CO

Car Diagnostics: how we help

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Appleton. What it involves: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

Who does what

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Getting a clear quote

Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.

Car care, briefly

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
