Your rental while you wait
Rent for as long as the repair takes, by the day or the week. A rental means the repair does not stop your week. Picking the car up yourself at our location costs nothing.
Before the shop starts
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
Between shop visits
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
