Car Diagnostics in Chapultepec, Ensenada

Car Diagnostics: how we help

If you need a diagnostic check in Chapultepec: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

The steps

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

A short checklist

Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Small things that help

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
