Car Diagnostics in Clovis, CA

Getting it done

If you need a diagnostic check in Clovis: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

Our part and the shop's part

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Your request reaches a person, not a machine.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

Getting a clear quote

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
