Car Diagnostics in Codallos, Michoacan

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Codallos is about 3,383 km away. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

How the arrangement works

If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Good habits for your car

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

What to ask

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
