Car Diagnostics in Consolation, KY

Car Diagnostics: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 780 km from Consolation, and does not do this work itself. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

What to send us

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Small things that help

Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.

Before the shop starts

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
