Car Diagnostics in Cranbrook, BC

Car Diagnostics for Cranbrook

We arrange a diagnostic check through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Cranbrook. What it involves: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

The steps

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Before the shop starts

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.

Small things that help

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
