Car Diagnostics in Dane, WI

Getting it done

We arrange a diagnostic check through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Dane. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

Who does what

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
