Car Diagnostics in Draper, SD

Arranging the work in Draper

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 1,702 km from Draper, and does not do this work itself. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

What to send us

Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you.

Car care, briefly

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
