Car Diagnostics in Ewing, LA

Car Diagnostics: how we help

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Ewing is about 1,855 km away. What this is: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

What to send us

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Small things that help

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
