Car Diagnostics in Five Points, IN

Car Diagnostics in Five Points

For a diagnostic check in Five Points, know first that CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works in the Toronto area. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

What to send us

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Between shop visits

Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.

A short checklist

Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
