Car Diagnostics in Frederic, MI

Arranging the work in Frederic

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 451 km from Frederic, and does not do this work itself. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

What to send us

We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Car care, briefly

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

A short checklist

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
