Car Diagnostics in Intercourse, AL

Getting it done

If you need a diagnostic check in Intercourse: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What this is: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

The steps

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Getting a clear quote

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.

Between shop visits

Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
