Car Diagnostics in McBride, MO

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; McBride is about 1,106 km away. What this is: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

From request to repair

Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Talking to the shop

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Small things that help

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
