Car Diagnostics in Murphys Estates, SC

Car Diagnostics for Murphys Estates

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Murphys Estates is about 1,153 km away. Plainly: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

Who does what

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Talking to the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
