Car Diagnostics in Napierville, QC

Getting it done

Searching for car diagnostics in Napierville? CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our shops are in the Toronto area. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

The steps

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Before the shop starts

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

Small things that help

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
