Car Diagnostics in Parallel, OK

Car Diagnostics in Parallel

If you need a diagnostic check in Parallel: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. Plainly: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

Our part and the shop's part

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.

Small things that help

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
