Car Diagnostics in Pineau, NB

Car Diagnostics: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 1,137 km from Pineau, and does not do this work itself. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

How the arrangement works

Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile. A person replies within one business day. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Between shop visits

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.

Talking to the shop

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
