Car Diagnostics in Renforth, NB

Car Diagnostics: how we help

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Renforth is about 1,064 km away. What it involves: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

What to send us

The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

What to ask

Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.

Between shop visits

Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair.
