Car Diagnostics in Sinclair, ID

Arranging the work in Sinclair

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Sinclair. What it involves: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

What we arrange

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer.

Small things that help

Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.

Getting a clear quote

If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
