Car Diagnostics in Stapleton, VA

Arranging the work in Stapleton

Searching for car diagnostics in Stapleton? CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our shops are in the Toronto area. Plainly: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

Our part and the shop's part

Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

Car care, briefly

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
