Car Diagnostics in Stoco

Getting it done

CarmaCars arranges a diagnostic check for drivers in Stoco through trusted shops, and rents you a car meanwhile. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

From request to repair

We can deliver a rental car to you while yours is at the shop. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location.

A rental while you wait

When the shop is done, we collect the rental from you. A rental keeps the school run and the commute on track. Picking the car up yourself at our location costs nothing.

Getting a clear quote

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.

Good habits for your car

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
