Car Diagnostics in Stratton, IL

Arranging the work in Stratton

Car Diagnostics in Stratton: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

What to send us

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. A person reads every request and replies with the next step.

Car care, briefly

Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Getting a clear quote

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
