Car Diagnostics in Trinity, NV

Car Diagnostics for Trinity

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 3,266 km from Trinity, and does not do this work itself. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

From request to repair

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Talking to the shop

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.

Car care, briefly

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
