Car Diagnostics in Twichell, TX

Car Diagnostics: how we help

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Twichell is about 1,991 km away. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

Who does what

You approve the shop's quote before any work begins. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.

Between shop visits

Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
