Car Diagnostics in Upper Fairmount, MD

Car Diagnostics: how we help

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Upper Fairmount. What it involves: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

How the arrangement works

We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. Mention any warning lights or sounds; it helps the shop prepare. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Between shop visits

Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Check that all lights work every few weeks.

Talking to the shop

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
