Car Diagnostics in Upper Wicklow, NB

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Upper Wicklow. What this is: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

How the arrangement works

We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair.

Before the shop starts

If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.

Good habits for your car

Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
