Car Diagnostics in Van, OH

Arranging the work in Van

If you need a diagnostic check in Van: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. The job: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

How we help

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Car care, briefly

Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.

A short checklist

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
