Car Diagnostics in Walker, MN

Car Diagnostics: how we help

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 1,250 km from Walker, and does not do this work itself. What this is: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

From request to repair

The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car.

Small things that help

Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.

Before the shop starts

Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

When you know your dates

One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
