Car Diagnostics in Wavell

Getting it done

We arrange a diagnostic check through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Wavell. Plainly: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

Who does what

We do not set the shop's price or promise a date; the shop does, after it sees the car. We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. A person replies within one business day.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.

Small things that help

Check that all lights work every few weeks. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.

Our area and Wavell

We have one location, in Toronto, and none in Wavell. We deliver within about 250 km of Toronto. Wavell, about 518 km away, is beyond that.

For a breakdown in Wavell, a local service will reach you faster than we can. If we do not know a shop in Wavell, we say so rather than guess. We would rather tell you no than overpromise, so ask about Wavell if you like. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
