Car Diagnostics in Wayne, AZ

Arranging the work in Wayne

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Wayne is about 3,068 km away. A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A steady check engine light needs a check soon; a flashing one means pull over safely and get help.

How the request works

Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. A person reads every request and replies with the next step. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Tell us when suits you and whether the car can be driven.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
