Car Diagnostics in Wickes, MO

Getting it done

If you need a diagnostic check in Wickes: CarmaCars does not do this work itself, and our network is around Toronto. What this is: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

The steps

Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. The shop quotes the work itself; we do not add to its price. If you already have a shop you trust, we can still rent you a car meanwhile.

Small things that help

Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.

What to ask

Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
