Car Diagnostics in Windsor, CA

Car Diagnostics near Windsor

CarmaCars arranges mechanical work through shops around Toronto and does not do the work itself; Windsor is about 3,649 km away. Plainly: A diagnostic scan when a warning light is on or something feels wrong, by a trusted shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. A warning light is the car asking for a diagnostic scan; the code tells the shop where to look.

Our part and the shop's part

We pass your details to a trusted shop or give you its name, as you prefer. If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done.

Between shop visits

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.

CarmaCars and Windsor

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Windsor. About 3,649 km in a straight line separate Windsor from our location in Toronto; our delivery stops at about 250 km.

Planning to bring the car to Toronto? Tell us when, and we arrange the shop. If we do not know a shop in Windsor, we say so rather than guess. Tell us what you need in Windsor, and a person will say straight away whether it is something we can do. Our prices are in Canadian dollars, with tax added in the offer.

Next step

A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.
