Emissions Test in Arrowhead, OH

Emissions Test: how we help

We arrange an emissions test through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Arrowhead. The job: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

From request to repair

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. We arrange the shop and the rental, and you keep control of the repair. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Between shop visits

Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

Questions to ask the shop

Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

A note on distance

To be clear: CarmaCars rents cars in the Toronto area, not in Arrowhead. With Arrowhead about 392 km from Toronto, it is outside the 250 km we cover.
