Emissions Test in Bald Eagle, MD

Getting it done

We do not do mechanical work, and we work in the Toronto area, far from Bald Eagle. In short: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

The steps

The shop sets its own price and time, and you agree to them before any work. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. Give us the make, model and year, and a phone number for the shop to reach you. Send a request with the car and what it needs. A person replies and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one.

Between shop visits

Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.

Talking to the shop

Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour.

Before you plan around us
