Emissions Test in Bates, ID

Emissions Test near Bates

Emissions Test in Bates: CarmaCars does not do this work itself and works only in the Toronto area. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

How the arrangement works

You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. We can suggest a shop that suits the job and your location. We keep you posted until the shop has the car booked in.

Car care, briefly

If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Switch to winter tires before the first snow, and back in spring. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.

Talking to the shop

Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
