Emissions Test in Bates, LA

Emissions Test in Bates

CarmaCars works in the Toronto area, about 1,881 km from Bates, and does not do this work itself. What it involves: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Emissions tests are required in some provinces and states; a licensed shop does the test.

The steps

If the car cannot be driven, say so, and we arrange the next step with the shop. We tell you plainly when we do not know a shop for the job. Your request reaches a person, not a machine. You deal with the shop for the repair itself, and with us for the rental.

Car care, briefly

Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Look at the tire tread before long trips.

Getting a clear quote

Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
