Emissions Test in Bodfish, CA

Getting it done

We arrange an emissions test through shops in the Toronto area. We have no location in Bodfish. Plainly: An emissions test or emissions repair where your province or state requires one, by a licensed shop we arrange, not by CarmaCars. Rules on emissions testing differ by province and state.

What CarmaCars does here

A person reads every request and replies with the next step. Tell us what you notice: the noise, the light on the dash, or the job you want done. Let us know where the car is and whether it is safe to drive. You approve the shop's quote before any work begins.

Between shop visits

Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.

What to ask

Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.

Before you plan

CarmaCars operates from a single location in Toronto, so Bodfish is outside our area. Bodfish lies about 3,443 km from our location in Toronto, well beyond our 250 km delivery area.

If we do not know a shop in Bodfish, we say so rather than guess. Planning to bring the car to Toronto? Tell us when, and we arrange the shop. Ask us about Bodfish in a request; a person answers honestly. Prices here are in Canadian dollars, not US dollars.
